Highlights of the Book
The insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (‘the Code’) which came into force in May 2016 has undergone various changes. The Code was amended twice in the year 2018 and the recent amendment in the Code has been made vide Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Act, 2019 . Various changes have been made in Rules, Regulations and Guidelines from time to time. Division I
(1) The presentation of the section wise commentary is in Bullet Form unlike conventional form of commentary which runs in paragraph.
(2) The commentary starts after every section under the head ‘ Guide Notes’ which is further divided in various sub heads such as ‘ Overview ‘ of the section supported by landmark judgments by Supreme Court/ NCLAT / NCLT , Circulars and Clarification, Punishments etc.
(3) Relevant Rules and Regulations of the Code (as amended) have been placed under the relevant section in order to give a reader a quick glimpse of the section.
(4) Supreme Court judgments and National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) / Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) orders have been placed separately under the relevant section for quick reference.
